Paris, February 26, 2025 – Christophe Giovannetti, President of the UNF, invites all individuals committed to women’s rights to participate in the 5th edition of the Femina Vox International Forum, which will take place on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at UNESCO Headquarters, Room I, 7 Place de Fontenoy, 75007 Paris.
This major event brings together actors from all backgrounds to debate, share,
and build a fairer and more equitable future for women worldwide.
A Global Platform for Women’s Voices
The Femina Vox International Forum provides a unique platform for women from all sectors of society to share their struggles, successes, and aspirations. While gender equality remains an ongoing challenge, this event will feature over twenty speakers who will share their experiences and propose concrete solutions to advance women’s rights.
A Continued Commitment to Equality
Since the adoption of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action in 1995, significant progress has been made, particularly in the field of education. However, many challenges remain. Audrey Azoulay, Director-General of UNESCO, emphasizes:
“Since Beijing, considerable progress has been made in education. This momentum must continue, as gender equality in education remains a goal yet to be fully achieved.”
Similarly, Dr. Guila Clara Kessous, UNESCO Artist for Peace and Peace Ambassador of the Universal Circle of Ambassadors of Peace (Geneva), reminds us:
“Women must have access to the same rights as men—not as women, but as human beings. The recognition of these rights will only be achieved together, with men and women united in building the society of tomorrow.”
